Bus Registration Form 2012
Assigned Bus Service:
Transportation will be provided to all students who reside within the NSE/Sunny Isles Beach K-8 boundaries who live more than two miles from the school. If you reside outside of two miles and are in the school boundaries and would like your child to be transported to school via a MDCPS bus, you will receive a bus pass in the mail. The bus pass will detail the pick-up/drop off location and time. In order for your child to be picked-up and dropped off, they must have the bus pass in hand. If you have not received your bus pass, please contact the school at (305) 933-6161.
Courtesy Bus Service:
NSE/Sunny Isles Beach K-8 also offers a courtesy bus service. All students residing within the school boundaries and within two miles of the school may opt to use the MDCPS courtesy bus. Please note students are NOT assigned to the bus and may get on and get off at any of the designated bus stops, however students must be registered to use the courtesy bus. Please contact the school at (305) 933-6161 to register your child for the courtesy bus service. Children will NOT be able to board a courtesy bus unless they have been registered for this service by a parent.
Transportation Form and Other Information:
At the opening of school, or at the time of registration, your child will receive a bus transportation form. This form MUST be completed. The information will help us identify students who will use the MDCPS bus services and ensure they load the bus each day at dismissal.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENT TO CORRECTLY IDENTIFY THE PICK-UP AND DROP LOCATION AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO SUPERVISE CHILDREN IN THE AM (PICK-UP) AND IN THE PM (DROP OFF).
Students using a MDCPS bus must follow and adhere to the MDCPS Code of Student Conduct. Students are expected to behave appropriately on the bus to ensure a safe arrival to school and/or home each day.

Afternoon Student Drop Off
All students will use the same MDCPS Bus route for the morning pick-up and afternoon drop off. Afternoon drop off times will range from 3:05 PM – 3:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 2:05 PM – 2:30 PM on Wednesday. Please make sure you have arranged to meet your child daily at the drop off location.
